Streets of Cartagena is an original three-dimensional wall sculpture by Stacey Carter Art.

This piece is described as a rough, tough, gritty textured slab, ideally suited for over-the-bed placement or any long horizontal space requiring a strong sculptural focal point. Made from polyethylene, plaster, heavy acrylic, and resin mounted on wood, the work carries the energy of layered streets, weathered surfaces, movement, and place.

Its elongated 23" x 73" format gives it architectural impact, making it especially powerful for bedrooms, hospitality interiors, private residences, or collector spaces where scale and texture matter.

The work is finished with a brown suede backing and includes attached hardware for installation.

A Foundation In Art, Identity & Love

Carter’s artistic foundation was laid in her childhood home, where her mother, Delores Ellerbe — a gifted painter from Charleston, South Carolina — filled every room with dynamic, soulful work in the 1970s.

Through her mother’s example, Carter learned that art could be a language of identity, power, and love.
