Acquisition by private inquiry
Enchanted Vines is an original three-dimensional wall sculpture by Stacey Carter Art.
Created with black textured vines of textile, plaster, clay, acrylic, and resin, the work has a powerful organic presence. Its surface moves like vines, roots, and shadow, creating a sculptural field that feels alive from every angle.
The square format gives the piece balance and strength, while the dark resin finish creates a dramatic reflective quality. Enchanted Vines is ideal for collectors seeking a bold black statement work with texture, depth, and quiet intensity.
The work is finished with a black suede backing and includes attached hardware for installation.

A Milestone Work
Stacey’s work, “Black Licorice,” was selected by jury committee for the Montclair Art Museum’s Juneteenth Exhibition — a milestone that reflects both the power of her artistry and the courage it takes to pursue a dream at any stage of life.
A Foundation In Art, Identity & Love
Carter’s artistic foundation was laid in her childhood home, where her mother, Delores Ellerbe — a gifted painter from Charleston, South Carolina — filled every room with dynamic, soulful work in the 1970s.
Through her mother’s example, Carter learned that art could be a language of identity, power, and love.
